Yes. But if it is a 1xx chipset, it might still need a BIOS update which you can only do with a supported CPU.

For 100 series chipset you'll need a BIOS update before you use the G4400, for the 200 series chipset though you'll be fine because you'll be using a CPU that was designed to work with it originally.

Ask the seller to update bios before sending. They do it for free.

What do you mean? 

 

Will it say whether it is or not a 100 series or 200?
