Right click on the start button, click System.  Verify that Windows sees 8GB and that you have a 64bit version.

Ctrl-Shift-Esc to bring up Task Manager.  Click the Performance tab, and then click on Memory.  What does it show?

Check in BIOS for 8GB as well.

Creating a new thread for the same issue will prompt the same questions to be asked when you don't also include the same info that was asked prior. Also, you miss the chance to quote users previously trying to help with updates on what you've found. From previous thread, it's likely that all parts are working fine but the mixed ram just isn't compatible. Doesn't happen all the time when mixing ram manufacturer or speeds, but it does happen.

Only thing you could try to do is making sure that in BIOS the RAM settings are 1333MHz with timings 9-9-9-24-33, XMP disabled, and default voltage 1.5v
