I live in Pakistan and have a budget of around 85,000 Rs. (=737$) for a PC build. After a lot of research, I think I will be going with these parts for my first build ( I don't need any storage cuz' I have an hdd). All of these are available in my country in a used condition (except the coolers):-

CPU:              Core i7-4770k                                                        (130$)

MOBO:          Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 3                                       (91$)

GPU:              Zotac AMP GTX 1060 6gb                                     (286$)

RAM:             Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600MHz 4x4=16GB     (87$)

PSU:              Corsair CX500W PSU                                             (21$)

CASE:            Corsair 400C                                                          (61$)

COOLER-1:   Hyper 212 EVO (New)                                             (31$)

                                   OR

COOLER-2:   MasterLiquid Lite 120 (New)                                    (47$)

Total: 707-723$ (Satisfies my budget)

Q.1) Are all of these compatible with each other (especially the cooler)?

Q.2) Is this a good buy?

Q.4) Any bottleneck?

yes

maybe depends your country specific economy, doesn't seem bad at all though.

no bottleneck outside maybe memory frequency, might want to try overclocking it past 1600mhz.

Everything is compatible and is well balanced. I'd opt for an air cooler rather than a 120mm AIO (since 120mm AIOs are generally just more expensive for the same performance). Also get a different PSU -- anything >= 450w from tier 1-3 from the PSU tier list in my signature.

Looks good

1 bottleneck tho : the HDD

Consider getting a 120 GB SSD for OS at least this will be a game changer for your overall performance.

The HDD will slow you down

I respectfully disagree.

The HDD isn't going to slow down the system or hold anything back from performing as it would normally.

first, yes the parts are all compatible

second, i guess so i mean a 4770K isn't that bad so i think it will be able to give a good gaming experience. And for that price, yeah

fourth, no bottleneck in this configuration

my question: is the graphics card also in an used condition? just be cautious if it's been used for mining

if you can, find the seasonic Focus Plus series. It is a good PSU

now for the GS700, it is tier 4 i wouldn't recommend it especially for the price

I don't think he will be doing any mining stuff as we Pakistanis know less about these things (including me, lol). These are the words in the description of his add:-

If you can, avoid Zotac cards. They're prone to VRM problems due to bad cooling.

Well, there is an MSI card being sold at 251$ (its some white fan version, maybe Armor). But he has not uploaded a picture from front. If I found his card working, then I might go for that.

I've heard problems with the MSI Armor cards as well, although those were all 1070 and higher models.

MSI GTX 1060 6GT OC   (303$)

Now, this card is going to disturb my budget. I don't think the other two might cause serious problems because I have no intentions of seriously overclocking the GPU (at least right now)

Whether it's a good deal depends on pricing in your area. If it's priced well compared to other tier 1-2 units, then yes, otherwise, no.

Try to cheap out the case maybe and the motherboard maybe and even the PSU to fit an SSD !!!!

Not saying to buy a goddamn defect PSU....

Buying performance parts with HDD is a mistake.

If OP can't fit it in his budget, there a mistake in the build somewhere.
