USB Stuck In Usb Port

TheTallGuy

Hello dear computer friends I have a little problem. I recently bought a new mouse for my desktop computer and it is wireless. As you may know, a wireless mouse comes with a little usb reciever. That reciever got stuck in one of my USB ports on my motherboard.

Does anyone know how to get the reciever out of the USB port. Thanks a lot :)

(The mouse is a: Trust GMS-504)

Was it hard to plug in at all?

No it was not hard to plug it in. I plugged it in without any force of something.

just pull it with your hand or use a tool

I already tried pulling it out with my hands but that didn't work, the only thing I achieved was a painfull hand xD.

If you can get a grip on it and it does not come out then you probably wont take it out that way, I would usually say heat or some lubricant but in this case its a motherboard, I recommend Warranty (probably does not cover it) or maybe USB jack replacement.
