Hi. Lately i have been having problems with my internet. Every so often, sometimes everyday, my download speed slows down to about 1-3 Mbps even though I normally get over 200. My brother never had this kind of problem and always has over 200. I have tried changing out the Ethernet cable but still the same thing is happening. I also tried reg keys but didn't help. If you have any questions in regards to my pc or anything then just let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Is your system connected directly to the router modem or through a Ethernet switch?

Do these slowdowns happen at a specific time or are they just random occurrences?

Is anyone else using the network and downloading anything when it happens?

Hi thanks for replying. It happens randomly and i am connected directly to a router. My brother often uses it but it never happens to him or anyone else connected to the network.
