Hello everyone! My name is Andrei Macovei and I want to build one of the best PC's I ever built for the first time.

Motherboard: X370 KILLER SLI from ASRock

Processor: Ryzen 7 1700 (stock speeds no overclock not even once)

DDR4: Kingston HyperX Predator 8GB DDR4 (2x4GB) 3000MHz, CL15, Dual Channel + another dual channel memory = 4x4GB sticks (quad channel)

SSD: Adata Ultimate Su800 256GB, M.2 2280 SATA III ASU800NS38-256GT-C only for windows 10 home english 64-bit version full version

SSD x 3: SSD ADATA SU800 512GB SATA-III 2.5 inch (x 2 for games as storage x 1 for photoshop editing photos and even videos as storage)

GPU: SAPPHIRE AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 Nitro+ 8GB HBM2, 2048bit

GAMING CASE: Genesis Titan 660

HyperX peripherals like HyperX Cloud Alpha, HyperX Pulsefire FPS, Mechanical FPS alloy pro cherry, Mousepad HyperX fury S pro

Logitech PRO Stream C922 for livestreaming twitch&youtube

I don't intend to overclock anything from this system (GPU, CPU & DDR4's). Just at base clocks speed. Stock cooler included. No RGB nothing like that because it will not help me with FPS while gaming. Also 144hz1440p gaming monitor having FreeSync. What PSU and gaming monitor should I buy ? Anything that you think it will need to change ? Thank you very much!

If you could make a list on https://pcpartpicker.com/ it would be much easier for us to edit, and give you advice. Just make sure to copy the sharing link, not the page link, when you're ready to share with us. PcPartPicker will also automatically calculate your needed PSU wattage, and recommend a good PSU.

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

Got any questions about my system or peripherals? Feel free to tag me (@bellabichon) and I'll be happy to give you my two cents.

PSA: Posting a PCPartPicker list with no explanation isn't helpful for first-time builders :)

Well I don't but I want to get at least 3 of SSDs. 2 only for games and 1 for video editing, photoshop files. External SSDs like HDD but I don't want HDD. I want to ask here what PSU should I buy if I don't intend to overclock ? I don't like 750W psu. It is too much for me.

Updated the rig you posted. This will be a lot better. Like it is not great in terms of price to performance, but its a lot better than the on you posted.

Another thing: you WANT HDDs for mass storage.

Edit: changed the PSU as running the 550 watt isnt the smartest om the vega 64

Please refresh to see the actual build. Did an update to the post. SSDs are great, but they are very expencive in terms of mass-storage. Relativly speaking HDDs are cheap. Another thing to look for in SSDs and HDDs are if they have cache or not as it improves their performance

Yes in my country these retailers they don't show you its right specifications and it is hard to find something that does fit your needs. By the way i did forget to specify that I already have one X370 KILLER SLI Motherboard from ASRock and I want to get Ryzen 7 1700, don't know anything about updating BIOS and I don't even want to try. I want to build something with 2017 year. That's why I have chosen Ryzen 7 1700, already. Now I am holding on and save money for other components like CPU, memory, GPU, PSU, storages, peripherals.

What country? If you can plonk that in it is possible we can manage a region-specific pricing.

Romania, near the Black Sea, for the moment. Thank you! Also about the compatibility mode from DDR4 Kingston HyperX Predator what frequency to buy and how much GB do I need? I can get max 64GB on my motherboard right ? At least 2x16GB = 32GB black is it really good? There is no budget for me. I hold on and save money for every single component. I don't have a life like the others because of my latest injury. I am not able to work like a normal guy. I wait, my mother brings me money so my mom is my money in the bank to say like a metaphore.

I wouldnt recommend more than 32GB. You could possibly grab 16 GB im 8x2 config and upgrade later.

Does EU and German prices apply to your country?

No. Unfortunately. Or maybe yes. I don't understand your question. In my country" is Romanian Leu or Lei noi or Ron you can convert on google like 100 euro to lei noi, for example.

Never ended up asking what your budget was. Im just assuming its a LOT of money. Hopefully your build goes well.

A few tricks

1. Samsung or Crucial mx500 SSDs are a safe bet to quality.

2. Grab the cheapest ddr4 3000/3200 mhz 16GBx2 kit you can find.

3. Grab the cheapest Vega 64, preferably with aftermarket cooler. (Something similar to the on i chose)

But I want at stock cooler with stock speeds. No overclocking. Why to buy and go with aftermarket cooler when I don't want to ? Do I really need to ? I want vega 56 not 64.

Id grab a after market cooler on the CPU almost regardless due to OC potential and the ability re-use the cooler on a upgrade a few years down the road. Also the cooler is a lot more silent

If the Vega 56 is cheaper than the 64 you can run with it instead, but usually you find them at similar pricepoints. If they cost the same grab the Vega 64 since it is slightly better. That is why i grabbed a vega 64 in the build

Just roll with whatever Vega is the cheapest. Also apply common sence to the purchase

Yes it is a lot of money but I am buying piece by piece and then I will draw a line, a bottom one then I will calculate the entire system costs. And then I will try to forgive how much I paid for. My mother did ask me like that to draw a line first but I told her it is not like that for me only because it depends on today or tomorrow, new promotions, depends on the day after, it can reduces its price for example a good gpu today can cost me 1.500 total euro but another week can cost me the same gpu for like 500 euro just the gpu and more stuff like this. I think I deserve this a lot, 1. it wasn't my fault to get injured 2. because of my parents or at least one stupid father that I had not anymore he is dead to me for centuries and 3. being corporated in my own projects like Golden Vipers multi-gaming eSports club I really intend to get where I want to including staff, sponsors and supporters. I am still young, but not so young. I learn fast and at some point I will teach others like how I was having trouble after trouble. I intend one day to give motivation not only to myself but to all people going through hard times, accidents and more. The life is not easy, you can make today hard choices for a greater good. My story is just a beginning since 5th of July 2014. I want to apologize if I did break anything from your own Code of Conduct. I have my own Code of Conduct for my own community as well and I know things. I respect each and every single one of you, guys. I respect everyone outside this community and there are plenty of other communities that are helpful a lot. Thank you very much and if I said anything making you feel not so good again I do apologize.

King Regards,

Andrei Macovei

Thank you. Of course I am on a budget I mean I don't want to pay too much for example I have now just the Genesis Titan 660 gaming case + X370 KILLER SLI motherboard. I did pay for both: (gaming pc case 40 euro, motherboard 113 euro). I waited the exact right moment and then I made the purchase. I don't want to spent too much money for similar fps as performance. I want something high-end but the lowest cost I can get possibly. Thank you very much. I hope you all people have also your own journey so best wishes from me, too! @GoldenLag I wish you all the best in this world.
