Dell Optiplex 755 mini tower motherboard upgrade

Hi guys, currently i have a Dell Optiplex 755 mini tower that had Core 2 Duo in it. Is it possible that i can swap modern gaming motherboard in it ? please let me know.

I'd properally just get a new case, a fullsize one.

No. It's a proprietary form factor meaning you can't put standard parts in it. Buy a new case.

You won't be able to fit a standard motherboard in there. As far as buying a new case for this purpose, I would suggest the NZXT H500(when it hits the market), or an S340 if you can't wait around for the H500.

Dell is one  of the biggest offenders when it comes to proprietary form factor components.

Therefore it is not possible to swap out your old motherboard for a new one.

You should buy a new case, but nowadays you can find some decent models for not a whole lot of money.
