So I bought my first gaming/rendering rig back in like 2009, which was decent at the time, and it's time for me to get into the new decade.

I started this prospective build and I have tried to make sure that the RGB components worked with Aura Sync and such.

Thus i'd like to ask for some tips whether everything I've chosen would be compatible together in terms of components, and if the RGB parts work with Aura Sync.

I'd also like to ask if the wattage requirements can be satisfied with my Seasonic SS-850KM Active, rated 80 Plus Gold. This model has been discontinued/upgraded upon from what I see on the Seasonic website so I have attached a picture of its details.

I have attached a saved basket link of the components and extracted links.

Just to summarize, what I'd appreciate guidance on:
- Component Compatibility

- RGB Compatibility with Aura Sync

- If my Seasonic 850W PSU satisfies the requirements

- If I can attach my old 1060 3gb to the new GPU using SLI? and if that would provide any benefit at all

- Any additional hubs/cables I might need for the build.

Edit: I already have a couple of SSDs and Mechanicals that i'll be migrating over using SATA for the time being.

Thank you very much and I look forward to hearing from this lovely community.

The 1060 wont work with the 1080. They have to be exactly the same card.

1080 + 1080 = Success

1060 + 1080 = Failure

Older AMD cards had this ability to work, where they had to be manufactured on the same process, but I watched this a while ago on LTT or someone else and don't remember as well. The 850w will do fine. Even a 500w power supply will handle your PC. Don't know much about RGB. If your hubs used USB, then they will work.

Thank you for answering so promptly.

Does the 850w include overclocking as well? And for the sake of future-proofing, if I choose to buy another 1080, will the PSU be able to handle it?

The 850w will handle overclocking easily, as well as a new GPU.
