So I built my current desk setup way before my got my cat, and she has been making it a disgusting place to be tbh. I never kept it super clean but she gets all kinds of shit on there and there is just so much hair I can't even clean it anymore unless I tear it all down first. So seeing as I will be doing that because I'd like to get back to gaming, does anyone have any ideas on how to make it nicer? Nothing super expensive but I'd be up to spend ~€50 or so

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Uhm, you answered it yourself.  Organize it, get all that shit off it, and clean it.  Keep just the basics on it, and maybe get another desk to L shape it, for the crap.

Wire manage a bit, will make it look a lot better too.

Basically, you know what you need to do.  You just have to get the motivation to do it.

Edit:  No offense, but judging by the lower left corner of the pic... you may not have an easy time of it.

Getting you PC off of the floor may help a lot with dust buildup. I'd like to minimize the setup, remove a monitor, streamline the speaker system, buying or building some shelves/risers to put the stuff on your floor and desk into.

Get some VESA monitor stands. They free vast amounts of desk space and are fairly inexpensive.

actiually dust is really not a problem, the Define C with my watercooling keeps pretty clean inside :)

true, i got most of it cleaned off and its a lot better now. i realize i also only have about a year or so left here before i move out and il just properly redo everything at the new place probably. unless this setup gets disgusting again and i cant take it and end up tearing it all apart
