I am looking at the " Samsung SSD 970 M.2 PCIe NVMe 500 GB ", the " Samsung 960 Pro M.2 PCIe NVMe 512 GB " and the " Samsung SSD 512 Go Série 850 PRO 2,5 S-ATA ". Which one is better? Why? also just to clarify which is better, a SATA SSD or an NVMe? Any recomentdations?

Thanks

The new Samsung 970 Pro is the best, then the 960 Pro, and then the 850 Pro. The NVMe interface is better than sata (I think because of its latency).

As he said the 970 is the best, and better than the other two, the 960 is slightly worse than the 970 but is better than the 850.

The Portable Slice of Bread (N270, HAHAHA, 2GB)

Muffinator (C2D E6600, Geforce 8400, 6GB, 8X2TB HDD)

Toastbuster (WIP, should be cool)

The Cheese Toastie (C2D (of some sort), GTX 760, 3GB, win XP gaming machine)

The Toaster (C2D, intel HD, 4GB, 2X1TB NAS)

Matter of Loaf and death (some old shitty AMD laptop)

windybread (4X E5470, intel HD, 32GB ECC) (use coming soon, maybe)
