Unable to use new HDD

Go to solution Solved by Electronics Wizardy,

Look in a program like crystal disk info, might be issues with the drive, or its used by anouther program already, like storage spaces.

Today I purchased a new Seagate Barracuda 2TB drive. I've attached it to my PC and started up my PC. I can view it on BIOS and device manager, however I cannot view it on Disk management to allocate it new volume. Can anyone help? Am i doing something wrong?
