I personally would get very good headphones from like audio-technica or Sennheiser and then get a Mod-Mic

AD700x is the way to go. I got mine today and it is glorious. Instead of buying a modmic I ghetto rigged a mic to my headset by ripping one out of an old headset I had. As long as you know what you are doing or you can figure it out that is always an option.

Ya i just dont really like the sound of games in stereo, surround just sounds better to me. :/

Razer surround is an option. It's software surround. I tried it but since I mostly played league of legends, it was pretty annoying because surround software just messes up the audio in that game because the sound you're hearing is what you're looking at and not where your person is so I had to uninstall it since there was no way to toggle off the surround without doing so. It should work fine in most games. Although I still stand by stereo being the best. 2 ear, 2 drivers
