nfs undercover not working

i downloaded and installed nfs undercover via Origin, but when i load the game it's stuck loading. i also set compatibility mode to windows xp or vista and same thing. i am on windows 10. i reinstalled the game but same issue

windows compatibility mode is broken and barely/doesn't work in most cases, so sorry, it might be an idea to just get a windows XP machine to play your older titles like that, that's what I did which fixed the problem. Yea sorry compatibility mode has always been a bit shit, but recently it has gotten even worse

Underground 2 plays fine on my Windows 10 machine

Some games work fine and all that but many don't, hell it varies by disc sometimes, but windows comparability is shit from my experience. Like sometimes you can get a programme for windows 98 to work on win 10 with no issues, but one for windows 7 doesn't work, it depends what resources it needs to access etc. and windows compatibility barely works. 

 

For instance I can't play Settlers Herratige of Kings to work on win 10, but it will work on win 7, xp, where as I have other programes like total CAD Version 2 which I think was win xp, (there is a reason you have never heard of it ) which works just fine on windows 10 so it really is a hit or miss thing.

 

Solutions is an independent windows xp machine, running a windows xp VM (or maybe 7 depending)

Launched it like normal though I needed an ISO as my system has no drive

i dont think nfs undercover on origin needs an ISO. didn't ask me for cd key, because i am able to launch the game
