How to ship RAM?

I sold some RAM, what is the preferred way to ship it?

Don't think I've ever seen ram get killed by handling, but acceptable way is to wrap in aluminum foil to short all the contacts together and then sandwich between some cardboard so it won't bend.

I wrapped 2 dimms in bubble wrap and taped them together before putting them in a padded envelope.  They arrived fine.

In the box it came in. Or in a similar package

 

Or... you can just use bubble wrap. But I would have them in anti-static bags first, then the bubble wrap.

Wrap them around in bubble wrap or glue them between 2 pieces of cardboard.
