Graphics card being a passthrough?

Can graphics cards also be a passthrough? Like say, An xbox with elgato GC HD to monitor  by passing through graphics card but still have Graphics card be used with reg pc?

most likely not, unless one of the ports are inputs

How do I know if a port is input?

You will need some sort of USB device to act as an input. Capture card

I have an elgato GCHD right now. Problem is I have 1 hdmi port on my monitor and 2 separate hdmi sources. Idk how I will be able to use both sources at the same time. and get audio and video from both at same time AND get hd playback from both at same time... Any useful ideas appreciated

most likely your gpu does not have an input. You need some pretty odd equipment to make that work, like you have to feed both your console and the pc into a device, that then puts it onto the screen, the most likely thing to do that would be a capture card and another pc maybe?

Can you run both sources in windowed mode with your capture software or do you need two capture cards?
