well I asked because it doesn't have a fan and I wanted to run a program on it all day but wasn't sure if it could handle it

I mean, you will still need to reboot for updates and stuff, but there's no reason a tablet can't stay on all the time except for that.

It'll get hot if the program is very CPU/GPU intensive, and it will probably slow down to keep itself from overheating.

 

Unless the hardware actually fails though, it should keep working.

why do you need to keep it on 24/7? just turn it off when you're not using it (or close the "lid" and put it to sleep), it's not like computers take minutes to start up these days
