Gone are the days when we would pray to find a laptop with some decent GPU, now we must search far and wide for one without.

I've gone through a few topics around here, a few google search pages and multiple clickbaity articles. Nothing of use.

Does a laptop with a powerful HQ processor and no GPU even exist?

I mean, size/weight wouldn't matter, just horsepower.

I would love to have such a laptop for work purposes, so GPU is not necessary and it would sit in the office most of the time (portability not important). Heck, I'm even considering a small form factor desktop.

Anyone has ideas on laptop models that might fit the bill?

You can get a laptop with a mxm gpu and just remove it.

i think the goal here is not spend money on a gpu that won't be used.

I think the best you can find is something with an mx150 or gtx 1050.

But why HQ? 8th gen U parts are only a tiny but slower, while hexa core H parts beat the old HQ significantly
