 Are you getting a 1440p 144hz IPS free-sync display, or a 4k 60hz IPS free-sync display? Both options are around $399

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

no..I don't want graphic quality but I want to be competitive so I want 1080p 144hz g sync. But since g sync is too expensive I'd just go for free sync.

Then you probably don't really need a 1070ti...Though I guess if you're keeping for a while it'll be fine.

Go for this display if you're in the US, 1080p 144hz and IPS/VA

I'm going for competitive when gaming and I will be editing videos for games so I don't really need to color correct anything which is no use for an IPS display. And the TN display these days are good enough for my usage so I wont go for the extra buck and get a 144hz ips. I'd get 144hz TN with g sync.

IPS/VA is always going to be useful. Just makes everything look better overall IMO.

well I play games and do graphic design. Not Photoshoping and video editing with color corrections and stuff which means I wont need an IPS display. I'd go for a TN display with 180hz and g sync which is more than enough for me imo so :)) well thanks for suggesting IPS
