Higer upload on ps4

So, I pay for 150 down 10 upload. However, on my ps4 gets 200 down 40 upload. I dont understand? I have my ps4 connected to the 4th LAN port my pc only gets 170 down 9 up. Can anyone explain this? I even tried using the same Ethernet cable.

This can happen to all of your devices. Alot of ISPs push a bit more or a bit less. Most ISPs (atleast where i live) gives alternate speeds. Which means they can go up a bit during the night time. And sometimes 2-5mb below during the mid day. for example.

 

Wouldn't say that's a bad thing? You should be happy to get more than what you pay for

I know my isp dsl is usually just a little bit higher than advertised. 25 down and you get 25.5 most of the time

the fiber is advertised speed or ~1% lower than advertised speed. Even google gig speed isn't full 1000mbps
