Dual monitor setup Choices?

So i am trying to get a good 144hz 27" monitor. Asus has them at $300 for the 27" and the 24" somewhere around $260-270.

I am trying to get a dual monitor setup with the same sized monitors, is it worth getting 24" and saving like $100-200 and a different brand like acers $200 24" 144hz panel.
