Saving The SATA 1

On a B360 Motherboard if a SATA III based m.2 SSD is installed the SATA1 port Vanishes..
Would the same issue be faced
if a PCIe based 'm' keyed nvme is used.. On the m.2 port?
Will the SATA1 port remain usable or not?

Need to know model of the motherboard to check on the user manual and find out.

Check the manual, it usually says which combinations are possible.

It's pretty normal for SATA ports to disable when using M.2 drives. This is documented in the manual. Look there.

According to page 16 of your motherboard manual: if an M.2 SATA SSD is used the port SATA3_5 (looking the mother board is the lowest port on the left) is disabled.

If you are using an M.2 PCIe SSD all the SATA ports are available for use.
