This video really helps me a lot but Linus didn't mention anything about txaa. Is txaa better and newer than fxaa?

Txaa is better IMHO. The performance hit is a lot less and it's just as good if not better.

So I downloaded my first game, Assassin's creed that came with my motherboard and now I am confused about the setting in the game. There is a few image quality options and can anyone explain which one has the best image quality and the lowest?

My build:

I7 4930k

rampage iv black edition

h100i water cooling

32gb 1600 ram

256 evo 840 ssd

4tb sshd

GPU: Gtx 770 2gb evga sc acx cooling

The best bang for the buck is TXAA, it has the least hit in performance relative to image quality though as I recall it's only available on Nvidia cards.

I started a thread on this couple of months back. Here it is has everything you need to know.

http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/52556-fxaa-vs-txaa-vs-ssaa-vs-msaa-vs-mlaa-vs-csaa-vs-qcsaa-wtfaa/?hl=%2Bfxaa+%2Btxaa+%2Bwtf

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.
