Hey, My old i3 350m and am radeon 6300 cannot take the game I really like to play(fortnite) so I am stuck on Minecraft. Now I fell in love with the Ryzen apu's and I got 3 options to choose. 1. Ryzen 3 2200g 2*4Gb ram build~350EUR 2. Ryzen 3 2200g 2*8Gb ram build~ 420 EUR 3. Ryzen 5 2400g 2*4Gb ram build~420 EUR. Which should be the best to buy? I do not want to go higher than 450 EUR and need a strong Cpu for a bit of editing(so not a g4560)

I LIKE TURTLES

what speed RAM tho? id get the 2400g and 4gb+ of as fast a RAM kit you can. 4gb can get you by, for a lot of things IMO.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Check out this build: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/qJc3yX

A GTX 1050 will outperform the 2400g in just about every game by a lot.

And like @Streetguru said, you can just use your old storage and this build should be alright.

yeah me too. in 2009 4gb was a heck of a lot of ram.

worked just fine just last year, wasent untill this winter i got more than that. Toaster only had 4GB of RAM and i was playing games on that perfectly fine, LAN PC 1.0 througth 4.6 also only had that and that was spring 2016 untill spring 2017 when i built the Toaster. more is obv nicer but its not like 4GB isnt perfectly fine aswell if you need to save cash

That case is a horrible hot box with no airflow, and I'd stick to AM4 for it's upgrade path.

Though for the games he's playing an APU is probably fine, can just put that saved cash towrds a next gen GPU in the near future that'll beat out a 1050.

i have to agree something like this kit is worth every $$ extra if at all possible...

though i would go even cheaper on the case and get a very entry level thing...

for example, to me this doesnt look half bad and for an entry level computer would be perfect:

i3-8100 and a GTX 1050 do you have any idea how little heat this combo produce, this computer could probably run on a laptop battery for a couple hours...

and still the i3 CPU is faster in games than AMD CPU up to the R5 1500X and the GTX 1050 destroy any APU in terms of gaming performance.

he is right 100%

Always better to have air flow than to not have airflow

A 1050 is faster yes, but its not entirely nessisary for those games.
