Get a 6700 and more RAM if it'll fit in your budget.

Im probably wrong but I would consider a better processor even though that probably wont fit into your budget

Euro to USD is more or less a direct conversion, a 6700 should fit.

The 6700 is the best you can get without needing to upgrade your motherboard as well. I would just get that and another 8Gb of RAM.

What's the motherboard? As @Crunchy Dragon pointed out, 8 Gb of RAM more would be good as well.

Running a SSD or HDD?

@Crunchy Dragon idea would work fine, but given your budget, I'd probably be easier to move to the most recent platform.

The RAM is the wonky issue. You'd want to start at 2133, then see if you can move both sticks up to 2400, then 2666. If you can only run in Dual Channel at 2133, that's better than single channel 2133, but I think you can get that current stick likely to 2666 without too much issue. Though, it's technically a risk it won't happen.

I just grabbed a Micro-ATX board, since the one you posted is as well. I know nothing about that specific board beyond it's price and that it works.

No. You'll need an B360, H370, or Z370 board for Coffee Lake.

Does it fit in your current case? Your current motherboard is a Micro-ATX size. That's a lot bigger.

There's a lot of room to pick cooling, but without spending more than your current budget on a new GPU, there's not a lot of reason to go for the 8700k.
