Router Port Forwarding and OpenVPN server

I have a few design goals for my post

 

1. Setup a Home VPN server that all devices can connect to

2. Fix my router to make a way that other people cannot see it but it's an easy setup for me to connect all my devices too without anyone ever knowing how to connect to it and hack my devices on my network. (I've had 2 slowdowns playing youtube and my Wi-Fi speed is fast to support it) (and kick whoever is on my network off it)

3. Forward ports on my router (I cannot host my own game servers)

1. Watch a YouTube video on how to set up openVPN.

2. Set SSID broadcast to False.

3. Depends on your router but there's probably a tab called Port Forwarding in the admin menu. Look for that and configure it with the settings it prompts you for.
