Eeny Meeny Miny Mo...

I literally can't decide between a similarly-configured Gigabyte Aero 15w and the MSI gs65. By similar I mean both 1060 models configured on GenTechPC with same ram and drives, at which point the prices are within a few dollars of each other.

I need help deciding...any strong opinions, and why?

If you are planning to add RAM and SSD and care about battery, go with Aero 15w. If not, then go with MSI.

PS I have the Aero 15x v8

This one probably has way better value overall, but it substitutes that premium barely-bezeld 140hz screen that looks so good on the msi and the gigabyte.

I'll look into this one though.

So are you planning on buying 2 gaming laptops that throttles on gaming (like 50% on cpu), get the gm501(full size gtx 1070 and only throttles a bit on the cpu) and gtx 1060 version is also available
