HELP!!! Laptop Turns on for split second

Hello, I have a toshiba p55w b5112 that i just bought from a friend. However, when you press the power button, it turns on for a split second and shuts back off. I tried re-seating ram, changing ram out, different hdd, turning on with the battery out, etc... plz help.

I guess maybe mobo or CPU dead
