you might need to turn down a few settings, but it'll handle 4k.

I agree with @Herman Mcpootis but you should get a higher capacity ssd or even an m.2 500gb ssd because your budget fits it and it's really nice to be able to fit your favorite games on an ssd.

Try using the PSU Tier List!

i dont get the purpose of an ssd, is it just for the boot times and read write times? Like it doesn't help with fps why would i even put games on that thing if it doesn't increase fps?????

Because your boot and load times will be much quicker and an ssd doesn't have the same ease of mechanical failure as a hard drive with moving parts in it does.

You didn't answer what country you're in (lots of countries use $), or if you the hardware involves things like a monitor and mouse/keyboard.

Lmao what are you talking about?? It's not like you use it for a week then it loses 100gb of capacity.  I used to have some 4 year old drives that worked just as fast and just as well as the day I unpackaged them, however many of my hard drives that are that old have seen better days.  The chart from that link literally says an ssd is better at everything than a hard drive, but it only costs more.  I didn't NOT recommend the crucial mx300 from the post above, I just said you might enjoy a faster, higher capacity drive because your budget can handle it.

$1400 is not price to performance...that's mid/high range for a gaming pc you can fit an ssd in a $600 budget and it's recommended/essential for anything over $1000.

This forum is made up from people all around the world. Your budget is entirely different based on what country you're in. You could mean 1400 US, Canadian, Australian, etc.

I have no idea how else to tell you that this build below is under $1400 and can run 4k.  You will be very pleased to use an ssd for the first time if that is the case, and your budget could also fit a 500gb m.2 ssd.

if you save on your psu (i put in a 80+ Gold 550W which is as good)and you save on the case, motherboard and you remove the ssd,you get 100$ out of your build!!

Your Basicly getting the same performance for 100$ less, and if you removed 4GBs of RAM and had 12 (which lets be honest is enough) for example you got the viper ram that is 86$ for 8GB 3000, if you added half of that price for 1 stick, you would pay 129$ for 12GB and you would save 23$. So if count the ram saving too, you would save 125$ for probably the same performance.

for that 125$ you can upgrade your cpu (to a r5 2600X) and a better motherboard (x470 with 64GB ram support, and sli, crossfire support. Not mentioning the overclocking you can do on that motherboard!)

So now tell me whats more worth it?

heres a link of a pcpartpicker list:https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mMzFgw

(it doesnt have a 1 stick viper cuz it wasnt available XD, so i put a 4gB ram stick for the price of 1 viper stick (43$) and just imagine it was a viper one,so it would be 12gb of viper DDR4-3000

You have $1400 to spend.  That is what you said in the first post.  Now to get good price/performance, you don't need a better cpu for $100 that is only 10% better.  Most people know that a more expensive motherboard does not necessarily mean much better overclocking.  A great b350 motherboard for $90 has the same overclocking potential as a decent x370 or x470 motherboard. This build would be the best price for the maximum performance you can get out of your budget of $1400.
