I installed it, its working. But I walked away from the process and still had the USB stick installed. When it rebooted, it went straight back to the beginning again. So I came back after 30 minutes to see I am back at the beginning again. Second time around I stuck around, It was quick within 5-15 minutes on the first reboot. Took out USB stick. Went to reboot again. On bootup there was a choice, Windows 7 on top line and Windows 7 on bottom line. I picked top line and it went through the process, 30-45 minutes later or sooner, at desktop without drivers. Turned off. Unplugged new install os hdd. Plugged back in original hdd, Intel network driver on usb.

 

Question 1 - Can I have computer drivers installed on the same disk as bootable o/s usb stick?

Question 2 - Why did it ask to choose one of two W7. Start Menu - Run - msconfig - boot tab - only shows one o/s and it never asked me to choose again. Only have 120GB  sdd so space is a premium.

Question 3 - How can I double confirm there is not two o/s on my sdd?

If you really want to be sure just format the drive making sure to convert back to gpt then do it again

1) No. Bootable USB is just for OS. You need to format if you want to have installers for drivers there. Unless you are talking about USB3 or SATA driver, those can be inserted into OS installer.

2/3) Well, you did install it twice. Check if the other install has files on SSD. Probably not, and you can remove it from bootmgr manually if you don't want to see that selection.
