Change Case

Hi, I have an Asus Rampage version V 10 + Intel 6850k with Noctua NH-15 on a Corsair 780T

I wanted to change the casing for another lightweight one since I took this equipment to several Lan Partys I find it very heavy

Well the most of the weight is still the insides of the computer, the case weights very little compared to that.

If you want an easy-to-transport desktop you should be looking at mini-ITX formfactor cases. But that would mean a new motherboard as well.

 

ATX PCs are gonna be heavy no matter what. If you get a super-light case, it usually means the materials are cheap and it would not be ideal for transport as you only risk to damage the components.

This. My itx case weight doesn't matter when the insides are dense AF

I'd rather try add something like a skateboard to the bottom of the case to make the whole PC a bit easier to move around.
