I have already posted a topic about the x16 slot and I see that there is no use yet I have a X1 slot folded. Can I cut the x16 card in the size required for the x1 slot. Is there a possibility of fire or explosion after cutting, of course if it is possible to cut off at all? As for buying a new x1 card, in my city there are no such, even in the state I think. Thanks for every answer...

No. Whatever you do, don't. You will break the motherboard.

If it doesn't have that slot, a new motherboard is a good idea.

The slot you are talking about is PCI-E mini, I think.

Also, I doubt there are any graphics cards for PCI-E mini in this gen.

hi.

Exactly why do you want to put so much effort in a P4 shitbox? People put Core 2 Duo machines out on the sidewalk these days, and all those systems have serviceable PCIe x16 slots.
