GTX 660 Ti is the best of the three for my personal usage, but yours? Do you do anything accelerated by CUDA or OpenCL, or is it strictly gaming?

The 660 Ti and the R9 270X are neck and neck performance-wise, but I would buy the 660 Ti for Shield support and ShadowPlay.

For some perspective:

650 Ti BOOST < 660 < 7850 < 7870 < 270x < 660 Ti

MSI R9 270. OC's past a 270x ref speed, runs cool, runs quiet. Has mantle coming as a free performance boost.

A month ago there were 7870 (underclocked 270's) for 110-120 bucks with rebate. Damned coin miners ended that.

If you can spend a little more and hate ATI? There are open box Asus GTX 760's all over my local microcenter for as low as 207 bucks with 3 free games.

Those are the two best budget options I see atm. Anything below that? Not really powerful enough to run the new games unless you game at 720p.

CPU:24/7-4770k @ 4.5ghz/4.0 cache @ 1.22V override, 1.776 VCCIN. MB: Z87-G41 PC Mate. Cooling: Hyper 212 evo push/pull. Ram: Gskill Ares 1600 CL9 @ 2133 1.56v 10-12-10-31-T1 150 TRFC. Case: HAF 912 stock fans (no LED crap). HD: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB. Display: Dell S2340M IPS. GPU: Sapphire Tri-x R9 290. PSU:CX600M OS: Win 7 64 bit/Mac OS X Mavericks, dual boot Hackintosh.
