Sid Meirs Railroads

Anyone out there in interwebby land play this game.

I just started playing it a lot lately.

Not going for the goals too much, just up to Tycoon (One level down from Robber Baron), 3 computer players and Hardest Level and have done every map so far.

Its a pretty easy game actually, but I havent tried the hardest level yet, Robber Baron. I know it will take longer at that level to buyout the competitors and make millions a month.

 

I wish they have a make your own map.

 

I actually prefer the original game, Railroad Tycoon, which was based on geometric placement, squares.

Its one step up from really old games that used ascii code. Similar to this style.

That might be the one I am thinking of, like 10's of levels and such.

I've apparently played 69 minutes of it... I also think I own the CD version too lol...

+1 for OpenTTD. Su many hours wasted on this and so many more to come. It's really fun and addicting.

openttd is still by far the best game of this genre.
