can I put everything together in my computer even if my PSU hasn't arrived in the mail?

I don't have an anti static wristband and I'll be standing on carpet (barefoot) and have all the parts on a wooden desk.

no need for anti static wristbands etc.... just don't be stupid and rub your hardware on the floor/ lick it or anything silly :P

always hold a metal part of your case while touching hardware to ground yourself (not that its really needed)

and yeah you can if you want to put it together.

Putting the power supply first is always better, especially if you have a non-modular one. Just wait.

You can ground yourself with any other electronic device that is grounded, you don't need a PSU to do this, heck run a freaking copper wire to a copper post stuck in the earth and it bests a PSU any day.

Build away!

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.

yes, you can build the system up before the PSU arrives. worse case, you might

have to remove some items to get the PSU in(?). as to static discharge, above

have solid ideas on that.

I have a Corsair Air 540.

The PSU goes in a different compartment so it's actually perfect :)
