Would there be any reason not to use the CUDA acceleration option in Premiere Pro?

I'm using a Quadro P5000, so I just assumed it would be a good idea to use CUDA acceleration to speed things up, ( if it even works that way). Is it ok, or better to use the software only option? I'm running a Threadripper 1950X, so either way, I'm covered. Thank you in advance.

use cuda since you have nvidea

Unless there are problems use cuda, quality is the same, it is almost always faster with a gpu like yours.
