Vewsonic Xg2401 calibration help

Just got an XG2401 and i need help with calibration.. I feel like the image is quite gloomy? Like the whites kinda hurt my eyes, and if i set it up in a different way I feel like it lacks contrast. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try looking for colour profiles around the web. And choose the one you like the most. 

 

I will send you mine once I get home (~8 hours). Unfortunately, I did not put the *.icm profile I have in a shared folder and cannot access it from University ?

First, check the monitor settings (to make sure no "enhancements" are applied.), then:

I've had a few settings and tweaked it a bit to my liking, i've felt that a lot of the icc profiles i tried made it more gloomy than rich. I'm on the default XG2401 profile right now with.
Contrast 62, brightness 75, r 95 g 92 b 100, sharpness 75, black eq 5, dcr 0, response time advanced, low input lag ultra fast, dcr 0. On a default icc profile

But thanks a bunch! I'm willing to wait for you to share ur settings and icc profile  any improvements are welcome!

Everything is on standard and have set a user profile for my color settings, actually everything looks pretty good right now but i'm open to improvements.  (btw link doesn't work)
