Anyway, uninstall the drivers with DDU and reinstall them (maybe not the latest ones as I have heard problems with the latest GeForce drivers).

I appreciate the time you guys took to help me, but i found the solution. Seems like my GPU cable somehow is broke. i put the new one in and i'm not playing at almost 300fps at normal speeds.

Thanks again image.thumb.png.50bcea953ce16a201187175323513e7b.png:)

Hi guys,

So today, i went onto my PC to game as usual. But my FPS was super low.
I was getting 12fps (In the menu) on fortnite. when i'd usually get 250+ in the menu.
Same applies to other games.

I'm speechless on what's wrong. I checked the GFX Card software to check my speeds and it seems to be locked at 139mhz with the core speed at 1506.

Here's a picture.

http://prntscr.com/jcfh29

I've no idea what has caused this, but i'm hoping you guys can help!

PC Specs:

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.2ghz
Palit GTX 1060 6GB Dual Fan
8GB Corsair Vengance
550w EVGA Supernova PSU

The speeds don't change at all when running in a game,

Here is what the speeds are @ with a game running. (All on low settings aswell)

http://prntscr.com/jcflmv

As you can see, i'm barely getting even 15fps.

Also what is "DDU" ? & Can you link me the previous driver before the latest (i'm not sure where i can find previous drivers)

DDU is DisplayDriverUninstaller. It's a program you run after booting in safe mode to completely wipe your GeForce drivers.

When you remove the drivers the system will restart and you can download the drivers again.

alternatively, you could always try using your gpu's heat sink as a cheese grater.

I'm currently trying the method of using DDU and a older driver as posted above. If this doesn't work, i'll try this method.

- Used DDU to uninstall the other driver in safe mode.
- Rolled back to 391.35 as Galaxy said

Here's the result

Those are the numbers you get while idling. Launch a game in windowed mode (so that it keeps using the GPU while you alt-tab) and take a screenshot again with AIB in the foreground.
