I was wondering if it's possible to connect my swiftech h240 x2 which i have mounted on CPU with Corsair H110 which is on GPU with 1/4" to 1/4" fittings and some fittable fittings for tubes. I cannot find ID size od corsair tubes, so if anybody knows this i would be grateful for this information. The h110 tubes are too short and cannot reach front of my case. I also need to finaly change fluid in my loop because i have not done it for years.

Those tubes on the corsair AIO dont come off easy but they also don't really release properly when removed.

The fluid is normally propylene glycol which has a pretty long life span. Because aios use copper base plates on the cooler and normally alliminum radiators, replacing the fluid isn't recommended. You will need inhibitors to prevent corrosion.

With an AIO you get a bit of evaporation, I have a 140mm rad it is 5 years old and still workingmfine.

That 280mm should do you fine.

 

My suggestion would be try moving the graphics card to the bottom PCI E slot.

Flip the radiator so the tubes are at the bottom, it looks like it might just fit....

Other thing on the g12 you can mount the cold plate in any direction. Is it facing the card exit direction to provide the most slack on the tubes.

I think he is talking mostly about the swiftech unit. It is an expandable AIO, which can be refilled and also it appears he added one of the included dyes. Also the Swiftech unit uses a copper rad and copper/acetal block.

 

I would probably consider cleaning the block on the swiftech unit... with the dye and if you have used it for a long time it could have caused some buildup.

 

As for what I would do in your circumstance. The Swiftech unit can easily be expanded on with another radiator and block. However the H110 is going to be an issue, but we can salvage part of this setup.

 

I would personally figure out what size tubing is being used on it... probably 3/8 by 5/8. I would pickup a new radiator that is the same size as the h110 and make sure it is a copper rad. Then I could cut the tubing as close to the old h110 radiator as I could for the h110 block. Then I would use the correct adapters to use it with your current setup. So for example you would run out of the swiftech unit in to the cpu inlet, then use the tubing on the cut gpu tubing to run to the outlet on the cpu. Then with the other tube on the gpu run it to your new copper rad, then from that rad back in to the swiftech unit.

 

The main reason I recommend a new rad is because the one from the h110 setup is likely aluminum. You could run the correct size quick disconnects to sorta rig it in to your loop, but you will be adding a source of galvanic corrosion which isn't good.
