Is there anything useful I can do with with an old GTX 550 Ti?

I just happen to have a GTX 550 Ti lying around, and I'm wondering if I could put it in my current system alongside my GTX 1070 and have it do anything practical.

i use mine for testing dead systems. simple 6-pin and does DVI/HDMI for monitor setups..

otherwise, not worth clogging a system for a secondary weak output.

if you have more monitors than you have ports, then yes you can use the 550ti as a display adapter

 

also, backup card if the 1070 goes wrong.

Hmm, I'd say, using it to power a low end display, assuming you have quite a few, or sell it. i'd buy it, if I can buy it for under $20, lel, I have no idea about the price, I am trying to put together the cheapest PC possible, whether it is used hardware or not, just so long as it can game, since I have a decent PC, and my friend literally does not even have a PC, so i'm building it for him
