Font Thread [Freetype]

Post your favorite Sans and Monotype fonts in here: Mine are Liberation Sans and Liberation Mono becuase they don't fill the width of the screen with 5 characters like DejaVu Sans and doesn't look like it has anorexia like FreeSans.

global font settings is systemD type bloat, each program should have font settings suckless instead of wasting time referencing some config file

Why not have global font spacing configuration? according to https://files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/EJ1105535.pdf,

 

why wouldnt you want the benefits of improved readability across all programs? I reckon linux should be more like macOS

yeah but i dont like macos implementation of libc-32++

thats why linux has libfreetype6:amd64

 

also macOS has a higher DPI than typical Linux machine (virtual terminal hurts my eyes black and white)
