Why not have global font spacing configuration? according to https://files.eric.ed.gov/fulltext/EJ1105535.pdf,

 

why wouldnt you want the benefits of improved readability across all programs? I reckon linux should be more like macOS

yeah but i dont like macos implementation of libc-32++
