Hey, I am looking for a 13" macbook pro replacement that can game. I am mostly playing PUBG/Squad. I want something portable as I travel a lot for work. I do not want to break the  bank and I am in Canada. I think my largest priority is size.

The 3 I was looking at were:

MSI GS65 Stealth Thin

Razer Blade

Asus zephyrs 501m.

All of these laptops are a bit on the expensive side.

Thanks for any input!

@TLCH723 - So what are you trying to say to point me in a direction?

@NumLock21 - I will look into them, Are they supposed to be super portable?

@DrMacintosh - PubG and Squad right now... going forward newer games that come out?

Anyone else have any input?

Do you need battery life? If not get the GM501.

If you are not going to upgrade, then get the GS65. (Still waiting for review)

All gaming laptops at this size suffer heat.

As @ZM Fong will say

Quote

Buy from resellers that offers repaste like gentechpc and HIDevolution.

Do you work for gigabyte or something? You keep recommending this computer

Maybe LM is not enough. Mine should have come with LM but still run hot (putting on reseller truth). Still need to do more testing. Did basic stress test and update drivers and windows. Now going to reformat the computer to see if it will make a difference.

btw, people use throttle and not at turbo interchangeably. In my book, throttle mean running below based clock and not at turbo run somewhere between base clock and the max turbo

That guy knows nothing about laptops so just ignore what he had said

OK this is interesting. Mind providing some pictures about CPU+GPU temps and clock speeds in NBC style Prime95+Furmark load?

There are many types of throttling too. Thermal, EC firmware, power limit etc.
