Razer core in Desktop using Quadro?

I just want to know,
I have a desktop at home,
with 3 graphics cards gtx 970, sli,

my friend had a gaming laptop razer, and a razer core
my friends use razer core with quadro p5000 graphics card , that's weird right?

i just want to know ,, if razer core with quadro p5000 is in use on my pc is it possible, impossible add graphics card because full ,,,

we know that quadro has a high performance in running jobs, one of which is v-ray rendering.

i have a mini itx pc in my office
i want to use razer core to make my pc in office be able to do v-ray rendering quickly,
that computer has a specification, asrock motherboard Z270 with thunderbolt 3, core i5, gtx 1050ti,
if I add a quadro on my pc desktop I also have to replace the power supply and graphics card
if i use razer core, i can use it on that desktop pc as well as other pc

 

I think the above answers solve my question, but I just want your opinion, is it possible my mini px itx can use razer core?

yes it works fine.

 

What psu do you have? Quadros are normally pretty low power.

 

Normally a faster gpu is a better opion here, not a core. ANd a lot cheaper.

 

What are you doing, vray renering isn't anyfaster on a quadro, and a high end geoforce is much better here.

some friends suggest quadro p4000, but I have not tried vray in gtx 1070/1080.

if indeed 1080 has more performance than quadro, maybe i will use 1080, thanks

Why not just upgrade the GPU? Why do you need an external one? Is your motherboard micro itx, or mini itx?

that's a good idea, i also want to replace with quadro, gtx 1070 or 1080ti, but what about gtx1050 already installed, sell it or throw it away :-)?

this is my reason, I am interested razer core not only use for desktop, but also for laptop.

I am interested about the graphics card that can be used on my laptop and can also be used on the desktop, so I can bring the full power of the graphics card anywhere and easy to use it.
