Posted April 26, 2018 Hi guys My gpu(1060 3gb)works only in hdmi.i know its strange but thats true but now iam switching from 60hz to 144hz monitor. Posted April 26, 2018 No, no HDMI cable supports over 60Hz at 1080p. You will have to change your GPU if it does not have DVI-D Dual-Link or DisplayPort ports (I would be surprised it does not though). EDIT: To be clear, you can still use your new monitor at 60Hz with the HDMI cable. Most other ones do too. You should get the ViewSonic XG2401 or XG2402 if you want 144 Hz over HDMI.
