Can someone explain this ? Clock speed 1080

if you play CSGO at 1080p on an overclocked GTX 1080 what do you expect to see? now you're using only around 30 to 50% of your GPU ressources...

This didnt use to happen with my 980.

i9-9900k 5.0ghz, 16gb Corsair 3600mhz, Asrock phantom itx z390 Mobo, RTX 3060ti, 1TB+1TB Western digital NVME, InWin A1, Noctua NH-U12S

Every game i play i dont get more than 60% gpu usage, pubg, csgo, ow, gtav

i9-9900k 5.0ghz, 16gb Corsair 3600mhz, Asrock phantom itx z390 Mobo, RTX 3060ti, 1TB+1TB Western digital NVME, InWin A1, Noctua NH-U12S

yeah because the GTX 1080 is 66% more powerful than the 980..

Also, there are new power saving features with pascal graphics cards, but maybe your power profile wasn't set right in the nvidia control panel

are you gaming at 1920x1080?

Ive set it to optimal power, so the card doesnt run 44c idle.

Well I already said to actually monitor the pc while you game so we can find the issue. Seeing low gpu usage isn’t trally helping diagnose the issue. Need to look elsewhere

Regardless, playing pubg at 1080p will still force the card maintain the clock rate. Even if the usage goes down.
