4k60 YT dropping frames

Not sure if this is a gpu problem

I have u2879vf 4k monitor that supports 4k60

 

i like to play youtube videos at max resolution they allow, also playing at 2x speed. When i play 4k60 videos, it can stutter, but still very smooth. 

 

last time i had 4k60 playing at 2.5x speed. ryzen 1700x usage is 58%, didnt check my gtx 1060 6g, internet is 100mbps.

 

which hardware is the problem

Dropped frames would be CPU or internet with how youtube works

Are you using a riser cable. That can happen when they aren't shielded properly.

Stuttering and frame timing issues can happen.

Thermal take core series cases are really bad... Riser cable :(

some people are proud of 1060's, some even buy 8 of them but i guess they do mining with those...

i have had some weird stuff go on with the latest nvidia drivers and video streaming.

I rolled back to  388.59 i haven't bothered to update because i couldn't run video smoothly.

internet throughput is mostly at 55mbps, sometimes 70, 80, 20, 5. 

if its a bottleneck, then it should be at 95mbps constantly??
