I do like 5 minutes while I'm dialing it in, then once you think you've found good settings you let it go for a couple hours to make sure. Also use different tests with actual test software mixed with games and things.

I really hope that's a typo because even 1.55 would just about kill a CPU not being cooled with LN2

Lol barley  saw that I put 3.75 I put it to 1.375

I’m saving up to make my own pc I bought this pc at Best Buy prebuilt could u recommend a good motherboard and a good ryzen processor

Ok finally not what I wanted but  Close enough I got it to 3700 MHz with 1.375 v temps for main board and cpu is 65c on hw monitor Aida64 stress test is also going it has been on for 25 min and it  hasn’t crashed

The 2600X would be a better choice over the 1600X, more overclocking headroom.

 

For the GPU the 1070 would be more powerful but I wasn't sure of your budget :)

i do mine for an hr. thats usually done by myself and not with a stress testing program. run a heavy game, convert a movie, play some pandora on google chrome. the first 15 minutes for me will tell me a lot, since chrome can choke out any system.
