Thinking about these 2. There is quite a big price difference between the two at least on amazon. Just wanted to know how much would the upgrade from a dual core to quad core affect real world performance?

Also, I noticed that the P2 can support upgrading RAM (I have SODIMM kits lying around) and additional expansion drive things, and was wondering how much would that affect upgradability. Is the extra cost worth it?

 

Also anyone else that can recommend good NAS for around the TS-231P's price level with better hardware, that's welcome too.
