Got my friend's PC be like this, actually this happens since about few weeks after he bought the PC itself.

Specs below.

Intel Pentium G4400

nVidia GeForce GT 730 (dunno how many VRAM)

4 GB 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM

(probably old school but still "new" they said) 250 GB HDD

Build-in case PSU, 400W from SPC

I actually suspected from the first time if it's a dying GPU. But yeah, I'm unsure about that so that's why I asking it here.

id also guess the GPU, not really a loss to the world really to have a 730 die, hope your friend can find a replacement tho

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

What connection are they using between the GPU and monitor?

Have they tried with a different monitor cable?

 

If it is not a cable issue, then the problem may be with the GPU.
