Too High?!?

Hey, Im overclocking my 8700k to 4.9 with 1.315v, on an Asus Z370-E MOBO. Also using an H100i V2 AIO from Corsair. Is that about average voltage for OC setting? Just curious, thanks for the help!

Seems alright. If you want you can lower your voltage until your system is unstable, then raise it again, but that doesn't seem nessassary.

seems good to me!

i do 4.9 on 1.344V

 

how are your temps btw? also delidded or no?

@wildthingMy CPU isnt delidded, I want to do it but I dont want to mess it up lol. My temps are around 30-33c idle and gaming temps(load) hover around 63-66c.

Pretty much anything under 1.4 perfectly fine as long as your not getting too hot. With your voltage and temps I'd wager your chip could easily go 5ghz and beyond.

@geo3 haha I would need a better AIO. H100i is kind of limiting. get a 280 at best for 5.0 and beyond dude.
